A normal response time indicates good clotting function while an overly prolonged response time suggests that additional thrombolysis may be required.
PRF kits are typically used in conjunction with other clotting assessment tools, such as the Activated clotting time assay and the Activase prothrombin time assay. Together, these tools can help healthcare providers determine whether the patient requires additional thrombolysis or other medical intervention to improve their blood clotting process.
